When “I can’t afford it” is only part of the truth…
“I’m coming out of grad school and feel like my savings are starting at ground zero.”
“I’m planning to save up for my sabbatical, so I’m not sure if I can start now.”
I occasionally hear these honest shares on my discovery calls.
The person across from me wants support through their transition, but they’re also in a season of rebuilding. They’re thinking, “Right now, I have to be careful where my resources go.” And that makes complete sense.
You may be in the same place: wanting to move forward while being mindful of your spending. What I’ve noticed is this: sometimes “I can’t right now” is exactly true. And sometimes, it’s quietly saying, “Can I really let someone in when I feel this vulnerable?”
There’s no right or wrong answer here. I don’t believe in shaming anyone for choosing to save. I just know what it costs to keep doing everything alone.
When you’re used to handling big changes by yourself, it’s easy to overthink, pull back, or burn out. My coaching helps you navigate those moments differently—so you can close one chapter feeling clear and confident about what’s next.
You might be asking yourself, “Am I heading in the right direction, or am I about to repeat the same patterns?”
Together, we’ll clarify what “the right direction” actually means for you, and build new routines, new priorities, and sometimes even a new sense of self, so you’re not just rebuilding what was, but intentionally shaping what’s next.
Here’s what coaching has helped my clients do:
🌱 Shape a second career after leaving a VP role without starting from scratch
🌱 Rebuild self-trust to date again after a broken engagement
🌱 Launch a new business that allows more time with family
🌱 Prioritize rest and health without sacrificing high performance
Yes, the cost of coaching is real. But so is the cost of doing it all alone.
Many clients tell me they burned out trying to “fix it” themselves—staying stuck in patterns that felt safe but small. If you’re rebuilding everything else, it might be time to rebuild your support, too.
Here are a few ways to explore coaching with me:
- Wondering if my coaching can support you? Start here by reading my client stories. If one resonates, I’m happy to connect you directly so you can ask about their experience.
- Curious about how my coaching works? Read about my approach or schedule a free call. No question is too silly or too basic.
- Not sure what you need yet? Just hit reply and tell me where you’re at. And I’ll reply with ideas on where to look.
You don’t have to rush. You just have to stay open to something different.
Warmly,
Betty
