You’re not lost. You’re in between.
Hey Reader,
It’s been a minute since I’ve checked in with you. I’ve been figuring out my response to a world where layoffs are rising, jobs feel uncertain, and more folks are turning to entrepreneurship…and I’m sensing that so many of us are here:
In transition. In reflection. In between.
I have a nickname for this phase of change: The demolition stage.
It’s what happens when you finally decide to make a big move—quit your job, set a boundary, show up more fully as yourself—and suddenly, your nervous system screams, What did we just do?!
The structure that once gave you direction or comfort? Gone.
The new one? Not built yet.
This is where most people start to spiral.
Not because they’ve made the wrong move—but because they’re standing in the rubble with no blueprint of what's to come.
I’ve walked through this space myself, and I’ve walked through it with countless clients—especially first-gen leaders, entrepreneurs, and creatives who were taught to always have the next step ready.
But here’s what I remind them (and maybe you need to hear this too):
- This in-between moment is not a failure.
- You don’t need to rebuild overnight.
- It feels much safer to have someone walk through the demolition with you.

When we rush, we often find ourselves rebuilding the very things we were trying to tear down.

That’s what coaching with me is about: not rushing to the next version of you, but making space for the messy middle.
Your pause is valid.
Your pacing matters.
And support doesn’t have to wait until you “have it all together.”
